Abstract

Abstract

This study aimed to identify the levels of strategic leadership, intellectual capital, and knowledge management, examining their relationships and the mediating role of knowledge management in public hospitals in Taiz city. The descriptive-analytical approach was employed, using a questionnaire to collect data from a population of (1400) employees. Through stratified random sampling, a sample of (320) individuals was selected; (300) questionnaires were retrieved, (10) were excluded, and (290) were statistically analyzed using SPSS and Smart PLS through Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Results indicated that strategic leadership dimensions were at a medium level (highest: core competencies; lowest: human capital development). Intellectual capital dimensions were also medium (highest: relational capital; lowest: structural capital), as were knowledge management dimensions (highest: knowledge diagnosis; lowest: knowledge acquisition). The findings demonstrated that strategic leadership positively impacts both intellectual capital and knowledge management, while knowledge management positively affects intellectual capital in Taiz public hospitals. Finally, the study concluded that knowledge management serves as a partial mediator in the relationship between strategic leadership and intellectual capital within these hospitals. This comprehensive analysis provides critical insights into the organizational dynamics and the essential role of knowledge processes in enhancing intellectual assets.
